Murakoze Coffee is grown and harvested in the hills of Rwanda. The rich volcanic soil and moderate climate create the perfect conditions for growing coffee beans. Rwanda coffee is grown on mountainside farms at 1600 to 2000 meters above sea level.
About 95% of Rwanda coffee trees are of the arabica bourbon type.
